Hot Rod Institute Diploma Programs
Hot Rod Institute is the alternative to the typical automotive school. We focus solely on hot rods and custom motorcycles, we do not offer training for the repair industry or try to mix the two. Hot Rod Institute has six different classes for the student to choose from in this specialized industry. A students may take any number of classes, all six or just one, depending on the student’s educational desires and/or budget.

- HRB – Hot Rod Body – Sheet Metal Fabrication, Chop Tops, Suicide Doors, Motorcycle Tanks
- HRR – Hot Rod Refinishing – Final Body Work, Priming and Top Coats, Custom Paint
- HRP – Hot Rod Performance – Engine, Transmissions, Trans-Axles, Wiring, Brakes
- HRU – Hot Rod Upholstery – Custom Interiors, Seats, Carpets, Headliners, Door Panels
- HRM – Hot Rod Motorcycle – Custom Motorcycle Mechanics, Engine, Trans, Primaries
Choose the right program with the right classes for you!
Students may bring their own projects provided they are approved by the School Director, Doug, before attending. Project approval is dependent on several factors, such as learning benefit for all students involved, project availability for those students not bringing projects, space available, and several other factors. Students will be responsible for all costs associated with their projects including transportation, parts, consumable materials, paint, etc.
