Great news on our NCA Accreditation Process, but unfortunately it is not yet fully complete.
We have hosted our final accreditation visit during the third week of July and it went great. The visiting NCA Team was very excited about the program and it progress. Since the completion of the visit we have had a local financial institution perform an audit of HRI, and the NCA Accreditation team has reviewed their findings. We have recently been informed the visiting team is preparing their report for the upcoming NCA Board Meeting to “Recommend HRI for Full Accreditation!” Excellent news for sure, and we hope the NCA Board will follow the recommendation of the team.
We will be able to begin the reporting process for Title IV (FASFA and Pell Grant) once/if we get the final approval from the NCA Board. Unfortunately we cannot approach Title IV until we have received our accreditation. The Director of Admissions and Education (Kyle Harder) will begin training for the Title IV reporting and approval process upon our accreditation. Our goal is to have the process completed by as quickly as possible, but the process schedule relies heavily on the Title IV governmental organization. The March 27th start looks to be a realistic goal for the first class approved to use Title IV.
If you have any other questions about the accreditation process please contact the HRI Director of Admissions and Education - Kyle Harder.
